My Top 5 Resident Evil 5 Weapons

Here is my favourite weapons on Resident Evil 5. I have chose these 5 for their stats, costs and how early on in the game you can find them. I am sure everybody has their own opinion on what are the best weapons so please leave comments because I will be interested to know.

#5 - H&K PSG1 (Sniper Rifle)

The H&K PSG1 sniper rifle is the least powerful of the three snipers but it’s accuracy and semi auto ability I think make it the greatest. This weapon can be useful for getting headshots and with its increased zoom you can pick off even the furthest enemies.

Weapon Details

  • Max Firepower: 1200
  • Max Reload Time: 1.70
  • Max Capacity: 10
  • Scope Power: 2 levels
  • Purchase Price: $4,000
  • Sell Price: Default: $400, Fully Upgraded: $16,400
  • Upgrade Cost: $64,000
  • Location: In Chapter 5-3, before you pull the lever to move the platform to enable you to cross the gap, grab this weapon which is in the room to the east of the lever.

#4 - MP5A5 (Machine Gun)

The MP5A5 is one of my favourite all round machine guns because it can be affective against weak and tough enemies. It might not be the strongest weapon and it doesn’t have the biggest capacity but it has double piercing which can be very useful against armoured opponents. I wouldn’t rely totally on this weapon but it’s a very good backup. It is also very cheap to upgrade and easy to find at the start of the game on chapter 2-1.

Weapon Details

  • Max Firepower: 120
  • Max Reload Time: 2.10
  • Max Capacity: 150
  • Piercing: 2 levels
  • Purchase Price: $2,000
  • Sell Price: Default: $200, Fully Upgraded: $16,950
  • Upgrade Cost: $67,000
  • Location: At the very start of Chapter 2-1 you will find this gun in the weapon case in the garage you begin in.

#3 - Benelli M3 (Shotgun)

The Benelli M3 is a pump-action shotgun which is used by police forces in America. The M3 doesn’t have any special features like piercing rounds but when it is fully upgraded it has a large firepower and will blow most enemies away. It is also a relatively cheap gun to upgrade and you can find it near the beginning of the game on chapter 3-3 near the jettys in the south. It's in a suitcase on the western path.

Weapon Details

  • Max Firepower: 900
  • Max Reload Time: 2.70
  • Max Capacity: 10
  • Purchase Price: $4,000
  • Sell Price: Default: $400, Fully Upgraded: $18,650
  • Upgrade Cost: $73,000
  • Location: In Chapter 3-3, this shotgun is found near the jettys in the south. It's in a suitcase on the western path.

#2 - H&K P8 (Pistol)

The H&K P8 pistol is the second pistol you can get. With strong firepower and double piercing this can be a deadly weapon. It is a very good all round gun and can be used with affect up to the end of the game, on amateur and normal difficulty. Its downsides are a small ammo capacity and you have to purchase the gun (at the beginning).

Weapon Details

  • Max Firepower: 300
  • Max Reload Time: 0.85
  • Max Capacity: 25
  • Piercing: Level 3
  • Purchase Price: $4,000
  • Sell Price: Default: $400, Fully Upgraded: $21,400
  • Upgrade Cost: $84,000
  • Location: Available for purchase once you begin the game.

#1 - S&W M500 (Magnum)

The S&W M500 magnum is the most powerful gun on the game and will annihilate most opponents with one shot. The problem you get when you have large firepower is large recoil causing low accuracy so its best used close to medium range. This gun can only be purchased once you have fully upgraded the S&W M29.

Weapon Details

  • Max Firepower: 5000
  • Max Reload Time: 3.18
  • Max Capacity: 6
  • Purchase Price: $30,000
  • Sell Price: Default: $3,000, Fully Upgraded: $25,250
  • Upgrade Cost: $89,000
  • Location: This gun is available for purchase after fully upgrading the S&W M29 (MAG).

Zeta Publish: Why microblogging could be the next email

Zeta the UK based digital agency have published a new article on micro blogging and the benerfits for your business. This is yet another genius article from Zeta with some great facts and figures about micro blogging. Here is small snippet of the article:

Why microblogging could be the next email

There's no doubt about it: 2009 is the year Twitter broke. But what's the point of microblogging and how can it help your business?

You know something’s hit the mainstream when Phillip Schofield mentions it on This Morning. But Twitter’s apparent overnight success took the best part of three years.

A prototype of the microblogging and social networking tool was built in two weeks in March 2006 and was launched publicly that August. A programmer called Jack Dorsey came up with the idea when he was writing software that provided realtime status updates for taxi companies. Twitter eventually became a company in May 2007. It’s estimated that over 1.78 million people are now signed up to the service, compared to just 100,000 a year ago. The company last year turned down a $500 million buyout offer from Facebook.
